NJ Cruisers - One of the Oldest PT Cruiser Communities in the Country

The New Jersey Cruisers have been organized since June of 2000 in various shapes and forms. Once a chapter of a couple of national PT Cruiser organizations, we took a different turn in the road and became an independent PT Cruiser community in 2002. The core group has been together since our humble beginnings in 2000, and we continue to grow in size and breadth, and count people in the Garden State as well as Pennsylvania and New York as members.

We charge no dues for membership. Since we are an independent group, we pay for our own club event insurance and forum/web site hosting. Our costs are covered through raffles and other fundraising that we hold at some of our events, and the attendees have been more than generous. We are happy to say that we have been able to recoup the costs for last year’s expenses and are getting closer to covering this year’s insurance and hosting expenses.

Our group is successful because of the involvement of its members; we encourage members to seek out events that we can participate in, and we collectively help in getting things organized. We have no official officers, and that is why we refer to ourselves as a community, rather than a club. Our events may not always be the biggest, but everyone who attends them has a good time.

We of course have a bunch of friends in the PT Community, such as the following organizations:

PT Alliance

Garden State Crewzers

Pocono Mountain Cruisers

Delaware Valley PTs

Wyoming Valley (PA) PT Cruisers
